Why are wedding photographs so important?
The day after your wedding the expensive flowers will start to wilt, the extravagant cake will have been eaten, & the costly gown will be put into storage. But years after the ceremony, your wedding album will bring them all alive again! Don't trust an amateur to cover the one thing that will last--your photographs. Why are wedding photographers so expensive? Over 80% of the work on your wedding will be done behind the scenes (consultations, design, layout, retouching, ordering, assembling, etc.). Only 20% of the work will be the actual wedding day coverage! What kind of Cameras do you use? Steve uses professional digital equipment to ensure you beautiful, clear enlargements. He'll also come fully prepared with complete backup systems for cameras and flashes. What will you wear? Trust Steve to arrive appropriately attired to blend in with your guests. Do you do documentary coverages? Yes! He loves to do photojournalism. Nothing is more fun than recording the spontaneous and expressive faces of the wedding party on such a joyful occasion, capturing the funny things that always unfold. Remember, however, that the photojournalist is an observer of events. He will traditionally play a lower profile role than the traditional photographer. Emphasis will be on casual gatherings of family and friends. Talk to Steve about choosing documentary as your only coverage. We find that many "moms and dads" want the traditional formal shots also. Please discuss this with your family members beforehand. Will you travel out of town? There is no extra charge for the Boise to Caldwell area. There is a charge for some mountain locations, such as Sun Valley, Stanley, and McCall. Will you travel out of state? Some brides and grooms have found it less expensive to fly Steve to their out-of-town wedding than to hire someone at "big city" prices! Please call for prices. For weddings requiring air travel, a hotel room for the night before and the night of the event is needed. Steven R. Paul Photography Meridian, Idaho 208-895-8767 stevenrpaul@msn.com |
